Hey HN! Last September I moved to Barcelona for a university exchange and thought it was the perfect moment to finally learn Spanish. I prepared with Duolingo, but as soon as I arrived, it didn't feel right anymore. Here's what I was missing: I wanted to actually use the language, but in a safe environment.
